Account & Data Deletion

Delete your full account

In the GRUN app open Profile → Account & Data → Delete account. Re-authenticate, review the consequences and confirm deletion. The authenticated deletion process anonymises the account, invalidates access credentials and deletes user-owned diary, health, notification and AI records covered by the deletion workflow.

If you cannot access the app, send a request from the email associated with your account to support@gruncalorietracker.com. We will verify ownership before acting. Do not email health details or passwords.

What may remain

Consent evidence and payment/audit events that must be retained for legal, accounting, dispute or fraud-prevention purposes may remain for up to 7 years. Payment audit events are retained without the deleted user reference where the system supports that separation. Short-lived caches, security logs and encrypted backups expire on their normal controlled cycle. We do not use retained records to reactivate your account.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting your account or uninstalling GRUN does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel renewal in the store where you purchased it. Store transaction records remain governed by the store’s policy.

Other privacy controls

Export: Profile → Account & Data → Export my data returns a structured copy of account, profile, nutrition/wellness, consent, subscription and relevant event history. Health: disconnect a provider to stop future sync; use Delete provider data or Delete all health data to remove synced metrics. Consent: optional marketing, connected-health and AI-processing consent can be revoked without deleting the whole account.

Timing and help

In-app deletion is designed to complete immediately for active records, subject to retained legal records and backup expiry described above. Support requests are handled without undue delay and within applicable legal time limits. For help, email support@gruncalorietracker.com.
